About Micro Investment Initiative Inc. (Mi3)
 

The purpose of Micro Investment Initiative Incorporated (Mi3) is to support entrepreneurial endeavors in developing countries directly through microfinance loans and indirectly through community development. These activities are meant to help people help themselves achieve financial self-sufficiency, sustainable, local economic growth, and societal improvement in their communities.  In this way, Mi3 provides people the opportunity to improve their living conditions, contributing towards the greater goal of alleviating international poverty.

Mi3's History (So Far)

 

Micro Investment Initiative Incorporated, otherwise known as Mi3, was officially incorporated as a student-run nonprofit on January 2nd, 2009 with the purpose of providing individuals in developing countries with microfinance loans. Through various forms of fundraising which center around entrepreneurial initiatives of our own, Micro Investment Initiative provides a resource from which students can develop real world business skills of their own while at the same time putting their work to helping other, less fortunate, potential entrepreneurs achieve success that would be otherwise impossible.
